Gridlines showcase Openbox, and talk pre-revenue valuations

Kenny Whitelaw-Jones and Iain Morrow from Gridlines presented the latest version of Openbox on a live webinar hosted by Danielle Stein Fairhurst – you can watch the session here if you missed it.

Openbox has just finished the third round of beta testing. The Gridlines team have announced a six-month public beta starting January 2021. The software will be available free during the public beta.

As they prepare for an upcoming equity crowd funding round, Kenny also discussed the challenge of valuing a pre-revenue company, even as a company that builds valuation models every week!

Microsoft embraces track pad for iPad users

The latest updates to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iPad – which began rolling out on Monday last week – will bring greater support for trackpads and mice. This will allow users to perform simple tasks like highlighting text in Word, selecting a range of cells in Excel, or moving and resizing images in PowerPoint. Read more
