Microsoft announced the descriptive error cards to Excel insiders today.
These new cards will provide much more context on any error message that you see in Excel.
This should be a really nice addition and help modellers to identify and fix issues more quickly.
Let's take a look at a few examples
The examples above are taken from our Excel Mastery course where we cover the common error types in Excel. As you can see the new, descriptive error cards provide a lot more information to understand, and therefore fix, the error.
